Do you ever want choc mousse but think, “No, I can’t.

It must have dairy & who knows what else?” This was me too. Then I found this vegan choc mousse recipe. It’s life changing.

It’s rich, creamy, & feels like a sin, but has no dairy.

I did not think it would be good at first. I thought, “Vegan choc mousse? Seems fancy but hard.” But no! It is so simple.

It has few stuff in it & bam done. The coconut milk makes it smooth.

The dark choc adds that deep taste you want when you crave choc. The best part? It’s sweet with maple syrup. It feels like a treat but you won’t feel sick later.

This recipe is great for any time. Show it off to pals or grab some after a long day. If you’re like me, you’ll sneak bites from the bowl. No shame here.

Here’s the thing. I love fast recipes that taste great & seem fancy. This mousse does both. Plus, no dairy great if you’re vegan or can’t have dairy. It’s light & sweet but not too much.

Every time I make it, it feels like those chill days when I want a treat but not the fuss. It’s like my cheat dessert that feels big but isn’t.

If you love toppings (like I do), this mousse is a blank sheet. Berries? Nuts? Coconut bits? Vegan cream?

Yes to all. All work well. It’s the best end to a meal or a sweet lift in your day.

1 can (14 oz) full fat coconut milk (cold from the night)
The cold milk is key. It gets thick & creamy, which is what you need. Coconut milk has good fats that might boost your mood.

8 oz vegan dark choc (70% cocoa is best)
The magic is in the dark choc. It’s rich, a bit sharp, & has stuff that’s good for your heart & mind. Pick vegan choc bars they taste great.

2 3 spoons maple syrup (just to add some sweet)
This helps it taste sweet but not fake. Maple syrup also has a good hint of caramel taste that fits well with choc & coconut.

1 spoon vanilla
Vanilla gives a warm hint that makes it smell yummy.

A bit of salt
Salt lifts the choc & sweet so it pops more.

Step 1: Chill the Coconut Milk
Don’t miss this! Put your coconut milk can in the fridge. Let it chill for at least 8 hours, best if overnight. When you open it, you will see cream on top & water below. Use the cream & save the rest for smoothies.

Step 2: Melt the Choc
Break the choc into bits. Melt it slow over heat or zap it in the microwave. Stir often so it won’t burn. Watch out I have burned choc by not looking!

Step 3: Mix It Up
Take a bowl & put the thick coconut cream in. Add the melted choc, maple syrup, vanilla, & salt. Stir it all. The mix should be smooth & like choc pudding but better.

Step 4: Chill to Set
Pour your mousse into bowls or glasses. Put them in the fridge for at least 2 hours. It needs to set & get smooth.

Step 5: Dress & Eat!
Once firm, go wild! Add berries, vegan cream, nuts, or a bit of cacao. Dig in & love each smooth, dreamy bite.

You can keep it easy just some in a bowl with a few berries. It looks good, tastes great, & feels a bit fancy.

Or go nuts with toppings. Toasted nuts or tropical coconut bits work well. Want to go big? Add vegan cream or more melted choc. Mint? Yes. It adds a fresh snap that cuts rich tastes.

If you host a party, set up a mousse “topping bar.” Offer many choices berries, nuts, flakes, crushed cookies so pals can make it their way. It’s fun & you don’t stress on perfect plating.

This mousse does not last here long. But if you have some left, just wrap it tight with wrap or put it in an air tight box in the fridge.

It stays good for up to 3 4 days. It may get a bit firm in the fridge, so just stir it quick or let it sit at room temp for 10 mins before you eat.

Chill that coconut milk well! The cream splits more when cold. This means a smooth mousse.

Tweak the sweet as you like. I use 2 spoons of maple syrup, but add more if you like it sweet. Or skip it if you like less sweet choc.

Add fun twists! Try a bit of cinnamon, some espresso powder for a mocha feel, or a little orange peel. They add cool tastes with no fuss.

Looks count (at times). Want to wow? Pipe the mousse in your cups for a pro look. Or just scoop it both ways are fine.

Watch the choc melt. Don’t rush it or make it too hot; burnt choc tastes bad & no one likes that.

Look, I won’t lie this vegan choc mousse is kind of my dessert ace.

It’s quick, simple, & tastes like more work than it is. Plus, it’s dairy free, naturally sweet, & full of great things like anti ox & healthy fats.

If you’re vegan, can’t stand milk, or just want something choc rich & creamy, this recipe is for you.

Get a can of coconut milk, some good dark choc, & let’s make some sweet magic.

Try it, tweak it, share it, & love each bite. Trust me, once you make this, you’ll want more. Yum!
