Alright, this one is my go to when I want something creepy but also ridiculously good.
It is basically Halloween candy but in one giant sheet of chocolate, which is way more fun.
The white chocolate ends up looking like vampire skin and when you throw red gummy fangs on top it totally looks like someone took a bite out of it.
I swear every time I make this people grab it before I even set the tray down. The best part is I do not even turn on the oven.
I just melt, dump, swirl and boom I have vampire shards ready to spook people.
INGREDIENTS :

Ingredients for the White Chocolate Base
16 ounces white chocolate or white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vegetable oil if you want it extra smooth
Stuff I Throw On Top
Half cup dark chocolate chips for drizzling
Half cup red candy melts or red gummy candies for the fangs
Quarter cup crushed pretzels for that broken bone crunch
Candy eyes or red sprinkles if I want extra gore
Couple drops of red food coloring if I want blood streaks
Why These Ingredients Work So Well
White chocolate is creamy and sweet which makes the perfect pale base.
The vegetable oil helps it melt like a dream but honestly I skip it sometimes. Dark chocolate gives that cool shadowy contrast when I drizzle it over.
The red gummies or melts literally look like fangs which makes the whole thing pop.
Crushed pretzels are salty which keeps it from being too sweet and they kind of look like ribs if you squint.
Candy eyes if I want it to look like something is watching me from inside the chocolate. Food coloring makes it look like I stabbed it which I love.
How I Make It
First thing I do is cover a baking sheet with parchment because I am not dealing with scrubbing dried chocolate off a pan. I get all my toppings ready ahead of time because once the chocolate melts you gotta move fast.
If I am using gummy candies I just cut them into fang shapes with scissors. I crush up the pretzels and toss the candy eyes and sprinkles in little bowls so I can grab them quickly.
Then I melt the white chocolate in the microwave. I do it in 20 second bursts and stir in between so it does not burn.
If I want that bloody effect I drop in a couple drops of red coloring and swirl it around without fully mixing so it keeps that streaky look.

I pour the melted chocolate on the parchment and spread it out with a spatula. It does not need to be perfect, jagged edges make it look more like something violent happened on the tray.

While it is still soft I start tossing on the pretzels like broken bones. I press the gummy fangs in pairs so it looks like bite marks all over the place.
If I am feeling dramatic I throw in candy eyes so it looks like they got trapped inside.

For the dark chocolate drizzle I melt the chips the same way and then either use a piping bag or dump it in a zip bag and snip the corner.

I go wild with it. I make streaks everywhere like it just got slashed.
I chill the whole tray in the fridge for like 25 minutes until it is solid.
Then I just snap it apart with my hands into random sharp pieces. The uglier the better.

How I Serve It

I pile the pieces on a black or red plate and surround it with fake spiders or plastic bats. It looks like vampire treasure.
People grab it faster than I can say careful it bites.
It is creamy and crunchy and chewy all at once which is dangerous because you keep going back for more.
Leftovers if There Are Any
I keep them in an airtight container at room temp for about a week or in the fridge if it is warm.
I do not freeze it because gummies get weird. It stays crunchy as long as it is sealed tight.
My Tips
Stir while melting the chocolate or it will scorch and smell like burnt sugar.
You can swap pretzels for nuts if you want more crunch.
If the candy melts harden before you use them, melt them and pipe little fangs on parchment then chill them and use those.
Parchment paper saves lives.
Kids love helping with the decorating part so I usually let them go chaos mode with the sprinkles.
