And that pour of oil with just a bit of dark vinegar (if you want) ties it all. The mix of tastes is so on it keeps you coming back for more.

And the best part? You can make it in about 20 mins. No sweat or long waits. Just fresh, fast, & so, so good.

It’s a kind of good for you eat too it’s got good things for the heart & skin. So you feel great as you eat.

Bruschetta easy recipe

1 loaf of French bread

2 cups of small tomatoes, chopped

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

2 bits garlic, made small

2 big spoons oil

1 big spoon dark vinegar (your pick but yum!)

Salt & pepper as you like

French Bread: This is your crisp base, giving you that golden toasted layer with a good crunch that holds all the wet stuff on top.

Plus, carbs = get up and go, right?

Small red fruits: These little bits give a sweet tang that wakes your mouth.

Plus, full of good stuff for the heart & skin glow.

Basil: Fresh basil gives more than taste; it fights bad stuff & packs lots of good bits. That herby, bit hot kick makes all seem new.

Garlic: Let me tell you, garlic is key here. It backs your body & keeps the heart cool by lowing bad stuff & blood push. Plus, it smells so good when you cut it small.

Oil: Good oil is pure gold. It’s full of good fats & stuff that helps fight bad stuff, & it makes each bite smooth & just right.

Dark vinegar: This is your pick but goes well if you want a bit of sweet sour that goes great with tomatoes. Bonus: it aids belly work & keeps blood sugar even.

Okay, set to make your place smell like an Italian eat spot? Here we go.

Step 1: Prep the Bread

2 41

First, warm your oven to 375°F.

Pick your baguette & cut it into about 1 inch thick bits thick right to hold all that wet top but not so thick it’s all bread. Lay them out on a pan.

Now, brush each slice with oil. Don’t skip, get a good coat so they toast gold & crisp. Put them in the oven for 5 7 mins ’til you see those edges turn gold and sharp.

Watch them though bread can go from just right to burnt, fast.

Step 2: Make the Top

3 41

While the bread does its job, cut those small red fruits good & small. Put them in a bowl with your small cut garlic.

Add the cut basil, oil, & dark vinegar if you’re using. Add some salt & pepper as you like. Stir ’em so all gets coated all over.

This bit is so good ’cause the colors red, green, & white all mix so well.

Step 3: Fix Up and Serve

6 33

Once your bread is toasted, lay that red mix on top of each slice.

Load them well but not too much. Eat it right away while still warm & crisp this is key. Wait too long? The bread goes soft, and no one wants wet bruschetta.

If you want to go pro, drop some cheesey bits or red hot bits on top for more taste.

9 12

I put this on a big plate when friends come, & it’s gone so fast. It plays well before a meal or as a small eat when you’re not too hungry but want something good.

I like to add some extra green leaves ’cause it gives a fresh look & smell.

And hey, bruschetta goes so well with a cool white wine or just some water with lemon if you keep it simple.

5 36

If you have leftover red mix (though, truly, it goes fast in my home), save it on its own in a tight box in the cold for up to two days.

Don’t put the bread & topping in the fridge it turns soggy & sad. Just re toast the bread in the oven for a bit. Then put it back on. Easy peasy.

8 20

Use fresh, ripe tomatoes. Trust me, the taste is way better.

Toast your bread just before you serve. That crunch is key.

Want a kick? Add some red pepper flakes or a bit of honey for a sweet & hot mix.

Parmesan cheese? Yes, put some on top for a salty, cheesy taste that’s just yum.

Keep the tomato mix on its own the bread should stay crisp.

The first time I made bruschetta, the bread was way too full.

It was a mess but still funny. My kitchen was all tomatoes.

I learned it’s about the right mix good flavor but not too much. Also, don’t miss the olive oil on the bread; it makes the crust just right.

A crisp baguette or any artisan bread is great. Don’t use soft sandwich bread it won’t work well.

You must try this bruschetta, if you haven’t yet. It’s easy, fresh, & so good.

Plus, it makes you seem like a pro with no hard work.

Make it for your next meet up, snack, or when you want a taste of Italy.

And if you love it, share it with your friends! Great food & friends are the best mix.
